The smaller of two hospitals in the Three Points area, Albright Memorial has always been a pillar of the local community, a place where patients and medical staff could feel safe and secure. But the hospital's doctors and nurses have taken notice of some changes in the neighborhood-changes that could pose new and unforeseen dangers to their formerly safe haven.                                                  Recently, the hospital has become a preferred drop-off spot for injured gang members. And, when a severely injured Sixth Street gang member is expertly stabilized with a chest tube, the hospital draws the attention of the area's two largest gangs- the Jackals and the Rattlers.

  Now, as they make life-saving preparations for an incoming hurricane, the patients and staff of Albright Memorial may find themselves weathering a whole different type of storm as the community hospital becomes a central location of a violent, all-out turf war.
